Find a payment request you've sent

Modified on Fri, Sep 11 at 3:55 PM

Payment requests have their own screen, and the list does not show everything by default. If the one you are looking for is not there, it is almost always the filter.

Open the list

  1. In the left menu, open Open Orders.
  2. Click Payment Requests.
Not Reporting — payment requests sit on their own screen.

Click All before you decide it is missing

The list opens filtered. The Status buttons at the top read All, Pending and Canceled — until you click All, requests that have been paid or cancelled are hidden, and nothing on the screen tells you they are missing.

If a request you know you sent is not in the list, click All first. That is the end of most “it has disappeared” cases.

Narrowing it down

  • Pick a date at the top left.
  • Department, if you only want one.
  • Type into the small box under any column heading — Customer, Sent to or Inv. #.

The Status column stays empty on every row. Ignore it — the icons above are what tell you where a request got to.

Seeing what your customer was sent

Click the arrow at the start of a row. It opens the exact message your customer received, with a button to open the link yourself and one to copy it.
