I can’t see the Bypass Additional Amount toggle

The Bypass Additional Amount toggle takes the additional card fee off a payment. If it isn’t on the screen, that’s a permission rather than a fault.

Where the toggle is

1. From Process Transaction, choose the customer’s payment method, then click Post to Account.
2. On the Confirm Transaction screen, switch on Bypass Additional Amount.
   The fee comes off the total straight away.
3. Click Confirm, and confirm again when you’re asked.
4. A dealership manager enters their PIN in the Bypass Fee Amount field.

If the toggle isn’t there

The toggle only displays for someone whose account has permission to override the fee. Without it, the switch never appears — it isn’t hidden behind the manager PIN, it simply isn’t on the screen.

Check the manager permission first

That permission is included with the Dealership Manager permission, so check whether the person has that first.

Being made a manager isn’t automatic

Setting somebody as a manager needs authorization from a dealership admin at your store. It isn’t something DealerWorks Support switches on by request.
