The statement is the month’s fees, set out so you can see what you were charged.
Find it
- Go to Accounting and open the Statements Report.
- Find your account.
Statements are grouped by account, so a dealership with separate department accounts has a set for each. - Pick the month you want.
There is a month filter at the top if you are looking for something further back.
What the status means
Each month shows a status alongside it, with the date the statement was created. A statement is generated in the first few days of the following month.
If you cannot see it
Access to statements is usually tighter than the rest of the reports — plenty of people who can see the other Accounting reports still will not have this one. Your dealership’s account administrator can contact DealerWorks Support to ask for it.
When it arrives, and why that matters
A statement is created in the first few days of the following month — which is the same window most offices are closing the month in. If you are waiting on it to finish a schedule, check the Created date rather than assuming it is late.
