The status tells you whether anything is still required from you.
The statuses
| STATUS | WHAT IT MEANS | WHAT TO DO |
|---|---|---|
| Undefended | Raised, and nothing has been submitted yet. | ⭐ Act. Check the deadline and respond, or accept it. |
| Responded | Your defence has been supplied. | Wait. The decision comes back in time. |
| Won | Decided in your favour. | Nothing. The money stays with you. |
| Lost | Decided against you. | Nothing more can be done on this one. |
| Accepted | Liability was accepted, or the deadline passed without a response. | Nothing. |
Two fields on the chargeback itself
| FIELD | WHY IT MATTERS |
|---|---|
| Defendable | If this says No, there is nothing to submit — the type of dispute does not allow a defence. |
| Defense Deadline | The date and time your response has to be in by. |
If the deadline has passed
The chargeback shows that the defence period has ended, and no documents can be submitted. There is no way to reopen it.
